The Parc de la Mar underground car park in Palma is the best choice for visiting the famous La Seu Cathedral, the nearby Royal Palace of La Almudaina or the Arab Baths (Banys Àrabs). It’s also the perfect starting point for exploring Palma’s old town and city centre from the southern side.
Located right by the sea, the Palma marina is also within easy walking distance – only about 300 metres away.
After a visit to Palma, the “Parc de la Mar” (the namesake of the underground car park) invites you to relax among its green areas and artificial lake before heading home by car. Regular small markets, street food events, concerts and other activities also take place here.
The parking garage / underground car park offers accessible parking spaces, EV charging stations and toilets. It’s open 24/7, well lit, video monitored and offers a safe environment.
With 748 parking spaces, the Parc de la Mar underground car park is quite large, but especially in summer it often fills up quickly. If that’s the case, you’ll see it displayed outside – or simply notice the queue in front 🙂
In that case, Parking Carrer del Moll and Parking Marina are nearby alternatives.
Note: The Parc de la Mar underground car park has two entrances (see below). The entrance via Avenida de Gabriel Roca (on the seaside) is only accessible from the east. Those coming from the west or north should use the entrance on Avenida d’Antoni Maura.
