Free parking in Palma

Parking in Palma can turn into an expensive little adventure – especially if you’re planning to spend a few hours or the whole day in Mallorca’s capital. Those euros add up quickly… and let’s be honest, you’d probably rather spend them on a good meal or a cold drink 😉

The good news? There are actually plenty of ways to park for free in Palma.

Free parking in general

Basically, you can park for free wherever the spaces are marked with white lines – or where there are no markings at all. Just make sure there are no signs saying otherwise, because those always take priority.

You won’t find many of these spaces right in the centre, but you’ll come across them more often in the outer districts or side streets of Palma. Perfect if you don’t mind a short walk.
