A little further from Palma’s old town than the Comte Sallent parking garage, lies the Santa Pagesa underground car park. Even so, it’s only about a 15-minute walk from here to the Rambla.

This car park is definitely worth considering, as it’s one of three parking garages in Palma where you can park for a flat daily rate of €5.

Beyond the parking rate, this neighbourhood of Palma – the Blanquerna district – is well worth a visit. The central Calle de Blanquerna, which was converted into a pedestrian zone a few years ago, is lined with many small shops perfect for a relaxed stroll.

Here, a little off the main tourist paths, you can enjoy the calm atmosphere among locals on one of the many terraces of the bars, cafés and restaurants.
