At the eastern edge of Palma’s old town lies the underground car park Parking Saba sa Gerreria. It’s a great alternative if the centrally located Aparcament de la Plaça Major happens to be full.
From here, a pleasant stroll along the Carrer del Sindicat with its countless shops will take you to the Plaça Major or the Rambla. in about 8–10 minutes. The Mercat de l’Olivar is also just a short walk away.
With almost 700 parking spaces, Parking Saba sa Gerreria is quite large – which means you’ve got a good chance of finding a shaded spot even in high season.
This is also one of the few parking garages in Palma where you can book a parking space online. The 2-day pass (shorter periods aren’t offered) can be booked directly on the operator’s website.
The underground car park offers accessible parking spaces, charging stations for electric vehicles and toilets.
Please note: If you rely on a lift – there isn’t one at the main entrance/exit at Plaça de Sant Antoni. A lift is only available at Carrer de l'Hostal de Santanyí, 6. Don’t be surprised – this entrance is two blocks away!
One more note: Payment in cash (coins and notes) is only possible at the machine located at the Plaça de Sant Antoni entrance/exit. The other machines accept card payments only.
