Electric cars park for free in Palma

Electric vehicles with the blue environmental badge “0 Emisiones” can park for free in Palma’s blue-marked ORA zones on the street.

In addition, there are no time limits for these vehicles, and a ticket from the parking ticket machines is not required.

Considering the parking fees, it might be well worth it to rent an electric car if you’re staying in Palma for the whole day.

Hybrid vehicles with the green-blue “ECO” environmental badge are expressly excluded from this rule.

Based on the information currently available on the City of Palma mobility website, it is still not entirely clear whether vehicles with a comparable foreign environmental badge and the corresponding registration also benefit from this rule.
